In 2010 our niche was fun convertibles delivered with premium levels of service. We didn’t presume to be experts in cars or rentals, but we cared very much about our people. We followed first principles thinking: who are our customers really and what do they want and how can we give them it? We always assumed our customers wouldn’t be content with just the industry standard. They’d sought us out, so we would go the extra mile for them, always striving to attain a level of service beyond their expectations. We trusted them, so they would trust us.

This has remained our modus operandi ever since: always learning and optimizing our craft in tune with the customers and their needs in a changing market, eschewing off-the-shelf solutions, building relationships. Always nurturing trust and mutual respect, growing together, to build something enduring. Fifteen years later, we believe we deserve to be called the Coolest Car Rental Company in the World.

Fast forward to 2025 and Wiggle HQ comprises one thousand square metres of hospitality and community on Bree Street, in the heart of Cape Town’s trendiest restaurant district. The Wiggle Room boasts two restaurants a cinema, piano bar, art gallery and, among other things, Africa’s largest golf simulator. It’s a constantly evolving place where we host events, screenings, private parties and premiers.

The physical space melds and combines with our proprietary mobility and lifestyle APP for Wiggle customers and members alike, two years in development to this point.

It serves both as a tour guide and bodyguard in your pocket. Need a haircut or lost your dinner reservation? Wiggle concierge is on live chat. Have a security issue or feel unwell? The nearest security or medical responder is a click away with GPS enabled nationwide response.

But the application is primarily designed to unlock all the immense potential of your location, destination and journey, enhancing your car rental experience and facilitating experiences specifically chosen for you.
